A new type of concrete slab

Insta-Slab is used as a base for water tanks, oil tanks, or any other containment structures for liquids and bulk materials. These concrete slabs are also perfect for sheds and greenhouses.

Insta-Slab streamlines the process of building a concrete slab for small to medium projects using a revolutionary material, made in Wales, called Concrete Canvas with a lifespan of 120 years.

How does it work?

Before a storage tank or containment unit is installed, the laying of a concrete slab, or reinforced concrete slab, is recommended for structural durability, safety and strength. When employing conventional concrete solutions, this process can become time-consuming, troublesome, and expensive. Contractors tend to be busy and not keen on small projects. Consequently, the costs are high due to the amount of labour and materials involved so they tend to avoid them!

Make sure that the substrate is properly leveled out and has a 3-5 cm sand bed before laying the Easy-Slab.

Unfold the material to cover the area required. Then secure the concrete fabric by fixing the material to the substrate.

Make sure the surface is irrigated evenly, with 3.5 litres of water per square metre.

Pegging options.

When fixing to a soil substrate, an anchor trench or ground pegs are typically used. Conversely, on rock or concrete substrates, the layers can be jointed together and fixed to the substrate using masonry bolts or percussion anchors. Stainless steel fixings with washers are recommended.
