Deploy has managed to raise over £1 million since it was incorporated in June 2020. Early on, the company received financial support from InnovationRCA and Concrete Canvas Group Ltd.
Deploy received investment in the Pre-Seed investment Round from The Development Bank of Wales and SFC Capital. Grant funding is also part of the equation from the Welsh Government, SmartCymru Grant Programme and from Innovate UK - Smart Grant Programme as well.
Deploy has equally been awarded with prize money from several competitions including the VCC Competition from Imperial College London, Young Innovators Award from Innovate UK, Santander X Entrepreneurship Awards and Santander X Global Awards from Santander Bank, and the Greenhouse Programme Funding from the Centre for Climate Change Innovation at Imperial College London.

Paul completed his Joint Masters in Innovation Design Engineering from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art in 2020. He is the Co-Founder of Deploy Tech Ltd and a serial entrepreneur who successfully founded deep tech company Project Stealth Tech Ltd. and engineering solutions companies such as Eón Corp technology consultancy and GeoPro Engineering and Design Solutions.
He is now fully focused on Deploy which encompasses his family legacy and engineering expertise. Paul has been recognised for his achievements as Winner of the Social Good Award in the Global Design Graduate Showcase 2020, sponsored by i-D, GUCCI and Artsthread.
Paul leads Deploy’s business strategy, commercial operations and fund raising activities. He is currently involved as well in product development and manufacturing.
Beren is a mechanical engineer and Imperial College London and Royal College of Art honours graduate from Innovation Design Engineering honours. She studied with the Royal Commission 1851 scholarship and won an award from British Airlines as her work was exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery.
She previously worked at SIEMENS in Technology Application Centre to oversee possible innovations within the company. There, she mentored a robotics club sponsored by SIEMENS where they won the championship award with her leadership skills in San Francisco and in Houston. She worked at Hexagon Studio Ltd. as Lead Innovation Engineer where she developed projects on human-machine interface (HMI) for Turkish Airlines, Roketsan (Army) and Airbus.
At Deploy she already successfully implemented a manufacturing line for Deploy 14R (Rural applications) series. Beren undertakes the development of the product at the same time as she manages the manufacturing team and the R&D team.
Cleantech director with over 30 years experience in Sales and Marketing. He currently works as a mentor to a group of Agri-tech businesses, with a specialism in drip irrigation control systems. Tony is providing advice on new market penetration and business management. Tony Gale worked for GE with outstanding achievements and scaled many businesses successfully.
He has been successfully creating awareness and business opportunities for our entry to market products the Deploy 14R and Easy Slabs.
Ben CURTIS (MEng.)
Ben joined the team in June 2022. He studied Aerospace Engineering at Manchester University, with previous experience in the manufacturing industry, including the construction of rowing boats.
Since joining he's had a large contribution balancing between the R&D team and the manufacturing team. His main responsibility is the design and implementation of the assembly line for our Easy Slabs.
Jakub KRAKOWSKI (MSc. BEng.)
Jakub is a graduate from Cardiff University with a master’s degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering. He joined Deploy in March 2022 as a member of the manufacturing team. He is in charge of developing an efficient manufacturing process for our water storage units, including our R Series, D Series, and F Series. Currently, he is also responsible for the production line and quality control.

Daniel WEBB (MEng.)
Daniel is a Design Engineer with a Masters in Engineering from the University of Sheffield. He brings expertise in design and manufacturing processes with composite materials.
He has been leading our R&D team since early 2021. Together with him, Deploy set-up the first crane system, unwinding machine, designed and implemented fixtures and gigs at low cost. Now, his focus is on an amazing technology called Vacuum Handling System which is being developed in house.
